It may be possible to use the Invisalign system to correct crowded or misplaced teeth. The Invisalign system is described as the invisible way to straighten teeth using a series of custom- made, nearly undetectable aligners. This will depend on a proper case analysis being done (see case analysis section).

Upon examination it may be possible for Invisalign braces to be fabricated. The impressions and treatment are submitted to Invisalign. Using the latest advances in   3-D computer technology, Invisalign, carefully translates the instructions into a series of precisely customised aligners. You then wear each set of aligners for about two weeks, moving your teeth, gradually until straighter teeth have been achieved.

It is sometimes necessary to prepare the arches using functional appliances before using the Invisalign braces (see functional orthopaedic appliances). Although the Invisalign braces are removable to eat and clean properly they must be worn full time.
